You may find this amusing. I have been hankering after a large Moroccan light for quite sometime but usually when I have been in Morocco it has been to work and I am laden down with photographic equipment so I saw this trip as an opportunity to bring back what I was after.
I decided to take no luggage, only a few bits in my hand luggage, which did not impress my glamorous travel partners and their daily change of outfits. I should have taken a picture of their faces every time I came out weathering the same purple Moroccan trousers and trying to make them look different by a change of shirt.
They were not impressed, especially by day 5 when they started to look slightly the other side of free-spirited-traveler. Anyway I made my purchase, somehow got it on Ryan air and it made it home safely and so did my trousers.

It was so really worth seeing you in the purple trousers!! Your light looks amazing.
Well done for getting it back especially as it could have been so easily mistaken for a bomb in its funny wrapping!!

I’m such a fan of your photography and am loving the blog. The light looks wonderful in your gorgeous living space! Could I be really cheeky and ask you where the beautiful blue floor rug came from?
hi sharon, thank you…sorry I have only just figured out how to reply! The rug is from Emily Chalmers shop Caravan , its from Natalie Lette’s collection of rugs, its so lovely and soft
